Chris Felton takes helm as Corporate Central Credit Union CEO
MILWAUKEE, WI (May 18, 2016) — Following an extensive nationwide search, the Corporate Central Credit Union Board of Directors selected Chris Felton as President & CEO.
Chris Felton becomes only the fourth CEO in the corporate’s 35 year history, succeeding Bob Fouch who retired at the end of 2015. Felton has been with Corporate Central for more than 21 years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President until his appointment as Interim CEO while the search was conducted.
Kim Sponem, Corporate Central’s Chairman remarked, “On behalf of the entire Board of Directors we are thrilled to have Chris serve as our CEO. He lives and breathes the credit union spirit and has clearly demonstrated the vision and leadership we need to best serve our members today and into the future.”
Felton began his credit union career at Corporate Central in 1990 when he was hired as the corporate’s first and only field representative; and spent his early years on the road building relationships with credit unions. After holding various leadership positions, Felton was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2012.
