Christian Community Credit Union awards $72,500 In scholarships

SAN DIMAS, CA (October 19, 2016) — Christian Community Credit Union’s “Scholarships for Success” Program awarded $72,500 in scholarships to 73 students in 2016. Awards were given to this year’s scholars and those who qualified for the multi-year scholarship program. Students were selected based on their essay, academic excellence, extra-curricular activities, and references. The Scholarship Program is offered each winter and awarded in May. Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Credit Union. Since the scholarship program began in 1999, the Credit Union has awarded $744,000 in scholarships.

“I have always loved the friendly and helpful service at Christian Community Credit Union. I am immensely grateful for their generosity in granting me this scholarship,” said Cassandra MacQuoid, Concordia University student.

“My family and I have been greatly appreciative of the scholarship provided by Christian Community Credit Union,” said Boyden Myers, Biola University student. “The scholarship has served as a tremendous blessing.”
