Christian Community Credit Union food drive collects 12 boxes of food for Shepherd’s Pantry
SAN DIMAS, CA (December 1, 2016) — Christian Community Credit Union’s employees held a food drive during the month of November to benefit Shepherd’s Pantry in Glendora. At the end of the drive, employees brought Shepherd’s Pantry 12 boxes filled with non-perishable food, as well as items of clothing.
“When our Social Committee found an organization right in our back yard that provides food and resources to families in need, we jumped at the opportunity to give back to the communities we directly serve,” said Human Resources Specialist Trini Mejia. “Our staff stepped up to the challenge and even inspired our members to make donations.”
“We’re impressed with the generosity of Christian Community Credit Union’s employees,” said Craig Cerro, Shepherd’s Pantry Assistant Director. “It’s a blessing to partner with them. They truly care about their community and helping those in need.”
