Clintonville Rebuilding Together Project Day 2010 was held on Saturday, May 22, 2010.  This was the second year the community teamed up with Fox Communities Credit Union to renovate two citizens’ homes in the area.

Once again the day was a huge success for both homeowners. There were over 25 skilled and unskilled volunteers that helped with painting, putting up a deck, installing carpet, handrails, and exterior doors, furnace, plumbing and electrical repair.  One of the homeowners commented “How wonderful the people were who donated their time, they were all so courteous and we are very grateful!”

Rebuilding Together’s mission is to work with volunteers to help to preserve and revitalize homes, assuring that low-income homeowners, specifically senior citizens and those with disabilities can continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence.

Special thanks to all of our volunteers and business partners for their time, talent and materials.  You have kept homeowners safe, warm and able to reside in their own homes.  These partners included Torborg’s Lumber, D Mitchell Interiors, Doug Heiman Builders, Rob Maas Construction, Nathan Schreiber Plumbing, Jeff Polzin Heating and Electrical, Erickson’s Home Medical Equipment, Clintonville Rotary Club and Advanced Home Technologies.

Anyone can join Fox Communities Credit Union if they live or work in the counties of Brown, Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca or Winnebago.  Fox Communities Credit Union employs 275 staff and has an asset size of over $765 million.
