RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (April 17, 2017) — CO-OP Financial Services Chief Product and Strategy Officer Shazia Manus was honored with the Confidence Award during the Inspiring Women of Iowa event on April 5 in Des Moines. Manus had been named one of three finalists for the Confidence Award in March. Sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, the annual event celebrates inspiring and influential women from around the state. The Confidence Award recognizes women with positive states of mind that guide their actions.

She is a long-time advocate for more women in executive roles and has established herself as an innovative thinker and visionary leader in both the credit union and payments industries. Manus serves on the World Council of Credit Unions’ Global Women’s Leadership Network, mentoring several aspiring women and readily sharing her story to inspire others.
