CO-OP Miracle Match Pushes Marching Miles Fundraising Total to $171,000 for Children’s Hospitals

Dublin, OH (6/27/12) – The Miracle Match program from CO-OP Financial Services has added another $25,000 to Ohio Credit Unions’ Marching Miles for Miracle Kids event, bringing the already impressive $146,000 total to $171,000. This additional $25,000 will be split among the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals residing in Ohio.

“This is such great news. Thank you to our wonderful friends at CO-OP for their on-going, forward-thinking generosity,” said Credit Unions for Kids Steering Committee Member, Paul Bohlman.

This year’s Marching Miles activities have raised 31% more funds over activities in 2011. Efforts include online fundraising to support walk events across the state, as well as individual fundraisers within participating credit unions. Ohio’s Credit Unions have raised more than $1 million for Ohio’s CMN Hospitals since the inception of Marching Miles in 2007.
