Coastal Federal Credit Union promotes three managers to VP roles
RALEIGH, NC (February 17, 2016) — Coastal Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of three managers to VP – Lesley Vaughan, Vice President of Reporting and Analytics; Arlene Babwah, Vice President of Risk Management; and MaryAnne Gangoy, Vice President Retail Sales and Service.
Lesley Vaughan is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a highly scalable, cost effective and relevant reporting platform that helps enable sound business decision making across the organization.
In her twenty-five years with Coastal, Lesley has served in many capacities. Most recently, as Digital Banking Manager, she played a critical role in directing the Digital Banking team that led the way for Coastal’s successful conversion to its new Digital Banking platform. Prior to this position, Lesley also served as Director of Business Transformation and Director of eCommerce Channels.
Arlene Babwah is responsible for overseeing the risk management profile of Coastal Federal Credit union across its vendor, customer and operations environments by identifying risk and developing strategies to minimize the effects to the Credit Union.
In her ten years with Coastal, Arlene has worked with Coastal’s Wealth Management division as Business Operations Manager before transferring to Coastal’s retail division, also as Operations Manager where she played an instrumental role in rolling out Coastal’s video teller technology and centralizing Coastal’s teller operations. She has served as Risk Operations Manager since 2011.
Arlene is certified in Enterprise Risk Management and a Credit Union Development Educator.
MaryAnne Gangoy is responsible for directing the sales and service culture in the credit union by assisting the retail sales and service managers in achieving their assigned goals. Her role in this capacity is critical as it fosters strong sales and service culture as well as creates an empowered work environment that allows staff to provide service excellence to members and business associates.
With over twenty years in the financial industry, MaryAnne has served in such roles as: Branch Manager, Regional Retail Branch Operations Manager, Retail Sales Enablement and Strategy Director, and as a Market Manager.
