Land of Lincoln Credit Union celebrates grand opening in Springfield
DECATUR, IL (November 16, 2015) — Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) is now open in Springfield located at 300 South Grand Avenue West! The public is invited to a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, November 18th featuring a Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00 PM and Business After Hours until 6:00 PM.
“We welcome members, local businesses and residents to join in our celebration of becoming an integral part of the Springfield community,” said LLCU Branch Manager, Brandy Bockewitz.
Refreshments will be served and food will be provided by Maldaner’s Restaurant. The first 50 attendees will get to choose a gift from under the LLCU Christmas tree and all guests will be entered to win a FitBit Charge Wristband.
The LLCU Springfield branch came about after recent mergers of two former Springfield based credit unions including St. John’s Employees Federal Credit Union, serving employees of St. John’s Hospital and Sangamo Chapter Credit Union, serving employees of Sangamon County.
