Today, Together Credit Union broke ground on a new branch, located at 1770 Woodstone Dr. in St. Peters. They were joined by city officials and Keeley Construction leadership, spearheading the project.
“We are excited to partner and serve the St. Peters community,” said Jennifer Moran, Vice President of Branch Operations. “Our branch will serve as a financial wellness resource for residents seeking advice or support, and a safe space for our members to receive expert assistance with their complex financial matters.”
The city of St. Peters, located in the heart of St. Charles County, has developed more than 4 million square feet of new commercial space since 2017. According to Missouri’s Office of Administration, St. Charles County, the fourth most populous county in 2000, is projected to overtake St. Louis City for the number three ranking in 2030, growing its population by a projected 76%. In addition, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reports that 49.8% of the county’s population has an associate degree or higher, a media $50,739 average annual wage, and an unemployment rate of 2.9% (March 2022).
This is the first branch built under the credit union’s new brand name, Together Credit Union. It will feature an airy and dramatic design that contains complete member services within a very accessible layout. Drive-up services will be provided by three easy to access onsite ITMs (interactive teller machines). In addition, Keeley helped upgrade several existing branches to create optimal spaces, enhancing members’ experiences.
Tom Mooney, Business Unit Leader at Keeley Construction, commented that “our collaboration with Together Credit Union resulted in a beautiful and unique design that will position the Credit Union for accelerated growth in the community.”
Last year, Together Credit Union branches assisted members with more than 714,000 transactions. This is exciting news as many local news outlets reported bank closures in the St. Louis market as a way to cut costs and keep pace with the digital transformation impacting the financial services industry in 2021.
Together Credit Union is currently developing a strategic branch expansion plan, which will use market data to create a prioritized list of additional branch locations to pursue over the next five years. The brick and mortar branches complement the credit union’s digital transformation, which focuses on new fintech and enhancements to its mobile and digital banking platforms.
