Community First Credit Union has been awarded the 2024 Crystal Performance Award by Raddon, a Fiserv Company, marking an unprecedented 16th consecutive year of national recognition for outstanding financial strength and member value.
According to Raddon, Community First is the only credit union in the U.S. to receive this honor every year for the last 16 years.
The announcement was shared by President/CEO Cathie Tierney and Chief Financial Officer Chad Bostick at the credit union’s 50th Annual Meeting on April 23, where more than 1,800 member-owners helped celebrate Community First’s legacy of service and performance.
“Being honored by Raddon year after year reflects our team’s deep commitment to finding a way for our member-owners,” Tierney said. “The way we serve has evolved over time—but our purpose has never changed. We’re here for people, and we’re proud to be recognized for the value we continue to deliver.”
Raddon, a trusted analytics and research partner to credit unions nationwide, evaluates institutions based on service quality, growth, financial soundness, and member relationships. Each year, only the Top 10 U.S. credit unions with assets greater than $2 billion are selected annually for the Crystal Performance Award.
“Winning this award 16 years in a row is truly extraordinary,” said Bill Handel, Raddon GM and Chief Economist. “Community First continues to stand out for its consistency, clarity of purpose, and unwavering commitment to its members. We’re proud to recognize them once again.”
As Community First celebrates 50 years of member-focused service, this achievement serves as a powerful testament to the strength of its mission—and the lasting impact of staying true to it.
