Community Powered Federal Credit Union building a stronger community with scholarship program
BEAR, DE (April 27, 2016) — Community Powered Federal Credit Union is investing in the future of three New Castle County, Delaware high school seniors with its $1,000 Community Powered Scholarships program.
All high school seniors graduating in 2016 who are members of Community Powered and attend any public, private, or parochial school in New Castle County north of the C&D Canal are encouraged to apply. Applicants can become a new member of the Credit Union to meet eligibility for the scholarship.
“Community Powered’s goal is to create a Greater Community in New Castle County,” Anthony Hinds, CEO/General Manager explains. “Preparing our youth for a better future is an important part of that. We are honored to continue giving back with the 16th year of our scholarship program.”
The application and list of requirements will be available April 29, 2016 at all Community Powered offices and online at: www.cpwrfcu.org/annual_scholarship.php
Entries must be received by June 6, 2016. Winners will be contacted in late July.
