Community Resource Federal Credit Union members will “Shop for Miracles” Oct. 15 in support of the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center
Credit Unions for kids campaign benefits local kids treated at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals®
ALBANY, NY (October 13, 2015) — Today Community Resource Federal Credit Union announced its participation in Shop for Miracles, one-day Credit Unions for Kids program raising funds for the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Each time members use their credit union-issued credit or debit card on Thursday, Oct. 15th, they will turn their every day purchases into extraordinary events. Community Resource Federal Credit Union will donate $0.25 with each swipe to the Children’s Hospital. Like all Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals donations, funds raised locally will stay in the community to support the hospital’s greatest needs, which include life-saving research, treatments, equipment, and charitable care. The funds raised help to light the way in helping sick children and their parents navigate through stormy days.
Community Resource Federal Credit Union has been fundraising for Credit Unions for Kids for several years. We have raised more than $200 for the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital during that time. What a happy tradition!
