Community Resource Federal Credit Union sponsors T-Shirt Day for underprivileged children
LATHAM, NY (August 6, 2015) — Over 55 children spent an afternoon decorating T-shirts as part of the partnership between Community Resource Federal Credit Union (CRFCU) and Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH). The eleven week Summer Youth Program provides activities, fieldtrips and over 1,000 healthy lunches to the children of the Sheridan Hollow and Arbor Hill neighborhoods each year. At the conclusion of the program, each child will be given a backpack filled with school supplies which will be provided by Community Resource Federal Credit Union.
The mission of Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless is to address the needs of the homeless and low-income community by providing a continuum of services to encourage self-sufficiency, empowerment, and stability.
