Eureka, CA (December 9, 2025) |
Compass Community Credit Union members and staff have answered the call to help make a difference in collection food items for the loyal community we serve. Members were encouraged to stop by any Compass branch through the month of November and make can food item donations. All the collected items were donated to the local Food for People in Eureka.
Compass Boad of Directors, including Dax Williamson, Board Chair, Wyatt Kneaper, Board Vice-Chair, Joan Tyson, Secretary, along with Directors, Ross Creech, Patricia Sundberg, and Annalise von Borstel, were on hand to present food items to Carly Robbins, Executive Director, on behalf of Food for People. These donated items will be used during the holidays to meet the needs of our local community.
“I am deeply grateful to Compass Community Credit Union for their generous donation of so many essential food items. Their support helps us continue to make a positive impact for our community and reminds us how powerful it is when local organizations come together to give back. Thank you for investing in our mission and in the people, we serve,” said Carly Robbins.
“Many of us have been touched by family and friends in need, and Compass is proud to support a great cause such as Food for People who work diligently in making a difference in our community,” said Dax Williamson, Board Chair of Compass. “I’m thrilled that our members, staff, and board came together. Thanks to your generosity, many families will have essential food items available during the holidays.”
