Connex Credit Union appoints Dennis Klemenz as Vice President and Chief Information Officer
NORTH HAVEN, CT (September 17, 2015) — Connex Credit Union today announced that Dennis Klemenz has been appointed as their new Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Klemenz comes to Connex with several years of financial, analytical and technological experience. He will report directly to Frank Mancini, Connex’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
In this role, Klemenz will be responsible for establishing Connex’s technical vision, developing the delivery roadmap and leading all aspects of the company’s technological developments. Klemenz will be required to maintain existing systems while simultaneously utilizing his previous experience to expand their functionalities. He will play an integral role in Connex’s strategic direction and future growth.
Prior to joining Connex, Klemenz was the manager of big data and analytics in mobile development and business intelligence at Sikorsky Aircraft. In this role, Klemenz oversaw a group of Information Technology (IT) supervisors while guiding the enterprise implementation of analytics, business intelligence and mobility visions. While employed by Sikorsky, Klemenz developed a mobile news app for their marketing department as well as a program with the ability to utilize historical performances to create predictive analytics. Klemenz has also been a professor of computer science at the University of New Haven since 2010. He was nominated for Professor of the Year in both 2013 and 2014 for his coursework development, teaching delivery and student support. He also holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
