Connex Credit Union hosts two free financial workshops in June
Industry experts to discuss Medicare and homeowners insurance
NORTH HAVEN, CT (May 26, 2015) — Connex Credit Union, a North Haven-based credit union with branches throughout greater New Haven, hosts a series of free financial education workshops throughout the year as part of its ConnexCares initiative. The workshops are designed to help educate consumers on financial topics and how to set and achieve financial goals.
The first workshop is entitled “Getting Started With Medicare,” and will be presented by Harry DiAdamo, a Medicare Specialist from Quantum Benefits. This workshop will provide an overview and discussion of Medicare, the basics, planning and more. The workshop will take place Thursday, June 4, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Connex’s North Haven branch located at 412 Washington Avenue.
The second workshop, “Homeowners Insurance 101” will be presented by Leigh Reddin from CPM Insurance Services, LLC. This workshop will focus on homeowners insurance and what its intent is, coverage gaps, common coverage pitfalls and the importance of conducting an annual review with an insurance agent to avoid pitfalls. The workshop will take place Thursday, June 18, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Connex’s North Haven branch located at 412 Washington Avenue.
