North Haven, CT (July 25, 2011) – Connex Credit Union has partnered with NBC 30 TV in a Smart Start promotion geared toward starting young people on the path of saving. Each week from July 11 through September 3, new members age 18 and under who open a Connex youth account will be entered in a drawing for a family four-pack of tickets to a local event or attraction.

On July 18, 2011, new member Scott Heinrich Jr. received a family four-pack of tickets to see the Wiggles at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford. Scott and sisters Kailee and Jamie recently became Connex members. Connex offers youth accounts tailored to the growing needs of young members, including savings and mini-money market accounts, and Teen Green checking for young adults.
