Connex Credit Union supports Havenly

This program supports four new charities each quarter and contributes more than $14,000 annually

Connex recently donated $929.41 to Havenly in support of their mission to build the community power of refugee and immigrant women through job training, education, and organizing. Located in New Haven, Havenly seek to create the conditions that will make it possible for refugee women to set the priorities and strategies of their own movement for change. These funds were raised at the Connex New Haven Branch through Coins-for-Change, Connex’s philanthropic program that donates 100 percent of the fees collected at its coin-cashing machines to charitable organizations.

"Thank you to Connex Credit Union for supporting the Havenly Fellowship - their contribution helped 9 incredible refugee and immigrant women launch their careers and invest in their skills and education," said Caterina Passoni, Co-Executive Director, Development of Havenly.
