NORTH HAVEN, CT (March 9, 2016) — Connex Credit Union, one of Connecticut’s largest credit unions, has announced they have joined with Samsung to bring Samsung Pay to its members. Samsung Pay is a simple and secure way to use your Samsung phone to pay for purchases virtually anywhere you can use your credit or debit card.
Connex is one of the first credit unions to support Samsung Pay during its nationwide launch. Using the Connex credit and debit cards you already have, payment becomes as easy as pulling out your phone. With fingerprint authentication and Samsung Knox technology, Samsung Pay also offers the highest level of security available. All you do is open the application, verify your identity with your finger, hover your device close to the terminal where you’d normally swipe a card and your purchase is made.

Samsung Pay works in 90 percent of United States retailers and will be available upon its release to Connex Members with a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge.
