GRAND RAPIDS, MI (December 10, 2013) -- Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, announced that two new credit unions had come on board as equal owners. The new owners are: Battle Creek, Michigan-based United Educational Credit Union (13,700 members; $114.9M in assets), and Indianapolis, Indiana-based NorthPark Community CU (7,100 members; $60.1M in assets).
“We are excited to welcome our seventy-first and seventy-second customer-owners to the CUSO,” says Xtend President Scott Collins. “Since I have known them, both Fran and Dan (CEOs Frances Godfrey and Dan Robbins of UECU and NPCCU respectively) have been strong proponents of our cooperative business model through not only their active participation in our peer-to-peer strategic planning events, but also in the utilization of our CUSO services. I look forward to working with each of them even closer in the future.”
