Credit Union 24 Board of Directors Elect New Members, Incumbents to Serve Credit Union-Owned Network

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – July 5, 2012 – Credit Union 24, the country’s largest credit union-owned ATM and point-of-sale (POS) network, announced today that two new individuals have been elected to its Board of Directors, and two incumbents have been re-elected to serve another term. The network’s Board of Directors also re-elected their officers to serve another one-year term during 2012-2013. Bradley Blake, President and CEO of Florida State University Credit Union in Tallahassee, Fla., was re-elected as Chairman; Joan Nolan, VP of Operations Support at IBM Southeast Employees FCU in Boca Raton, Fla., was re-elected as Vice Chairman; and Becky Hulett, CFO of 121 Financial Credit Union in Jacksonville, Fla., was re-elected as Secretary/ Treasurer.
“Our Board of Directors have diligently served credit union members all across the country for many years in various capacities, and have played key roles in the success of this network, their credit unions, and the overall credit union movement,” said Jim Park, president and CEO of Credit Union 24. “We are pleased to welcome our new Board members and incumbents to our team, as they bring many years of experience, knowledge and passion for our industry. James Smith, President and CEO of Singing River FCU in Moss Point, Miss., was elected to the Credit Union 24 Board of Directors to serve a three-year term. Having been with Singing River FCU for nearly 20 years, Mr. Smith also currently serves on the Boards of the Mississippi Credit Union Association and Accolade Investment Advisory, LLC, and as the Mississippi Chairman for the Credit Union Legislative Action Council. Paul Numbers, Jr., President and CEO of State Employees Credit Union (SECU) in Jacksonville, Fla., was also newly elected to the Credit Union 24 Board of Directors for a one-year term. Mr. Numbers has been President and CEO of SECU since 2009, having previously served as President and CEO of Marketplace FCU in Jacksonville. Having spent nearly 30 years in the credit union industry, Mr. Numbers is also very active on the Board of the Northeast Florida Chapter of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions.

Bradley Blake, President and CEO of Florida State University Credit Union in Tallahassee, Fla., and Alvin Cowans, President and CEO McCoy FCU in Orlando, Fla., were both re-elected to the Credit Union 24 Board of Directors to serve three-year terms. Mr. Blake has nearly 20 years of credit union industry experience, and is actively involved in many capacities in the Tallahassee community. Mr. Cowans has more than 35 years of credit union industry experience, and also currently serves as a Director for the League of Southeastern Credit Unions and as an Advisory Board member for PSCU.
