TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – May 23, 2011 – Credit Union 24, the country’s largest credit union-owned ATM and point-of-sale (POS) network, announced today that two members of its leadership team have been promoted to the Executive Vice President (EVP) level to better position the CUSO for continued growth. Ed Young, EVP of Sales and Processor Relations, and Mary Warren, EVP of Marketing and Office Operations, collectively have invested nearly 25 years of service in Credit Union 24 and have been instrumental in growing the network to the national ATM and POS leader it is today.
“As we look to both the future of our industry and specifically Credit Union 24, our Board of Directors unanimously recognized Ed and Mary as integral parts of what we have achieved and what is yet to come,” said Jim Park, President and CEO of Credit Union 24. “Given their strong focus on results, industry intuition, unwavering dedication and inspiring leadership, our network owes each of them a debt of gratitude for their service to Credit Union 24 and its participants. Individually, Ed and Mary each have demonstrated their personal commitment to the concept of a credit union-owned network. As leaders, their collaborative success has been exceptional and going forward I am confident they will help ensure our upward trajectory as we continue to strengthen our organization.”
Ed joined Credit Union 24 in 2000, and currently oversees all national-sales and business-development efforts, as well as processor relations for the network. With more than 27 years of experience in the financial industry, Ed is also responsible for identifying and securing strategic alliance partners that will strengthen the network and enhance its product lines. Before joining Credit Union 24, Ed worked with the largest EFT processor in the country, managed POS services for other major networks, and chaired the National Merchant Advisory Council.
Mary, with more than 32 years of service to the credit union industry, currently oversees all marketing and brand initiatives for Credit Union 24, and manages all office and client-service operations. As the driving force behind solidifying the Credit Union 24 brand in the marketplace, Mary is recognized for having improved visibility of the network and refining its marketing and communications strategies to positively impact the organization’s bottom-line. Prior to joining Credit Union 24, Mary worked with the Florida Credit Union League Service Group in a variety of capacities, including director of products and services, and was liaison between the CUNA Service Group and Florida credit unions, enhancing credit unions’ visibility and activity in the national service group.
