Indianapolis – May 15, 2012 – Shared branching vendor Credit Union Centers (CUC) is, well, branching out to offer a more robust product and service offering for its credit unions. CUC will commence offering “delivery channel” products all based on its shared branching foundation next month. Through its partnership with CO-OP Shared Branching, the additional products CUC will offer include remote deposit, mobile banking, and call center services.  Since the new products will utilize the existing shared branch data system interface, CUC member credit unions will be able to add the additional products without paying for additional interfaces to their core system.

A more detailed look at CUC’s new services:

  • Call center services – provides members with 24/7-account access along with cross-sell revenue generating opportunities for credit unions.
  • Remote Deposit – harnessing check-imaging technology, this product offers mobile RDC capabilities to members with iPhone or Android devices.
  • Mobile banking – Allows credit unions to provide Text, Web, and Application based mobile access to their members.

“By offering these new services, credit unions can now provide multiple touch points to attract younger demographics that will ultimately keep the industry moving forward,” says Credit Union Centers EVP/CFO Dan Davis. “These new delivery channel products allow us to become a total solutions provider, complementing our shared branching services that allows credit unions to have more options without paying for multiple interfaces to their core system.”
