BUCKS COUNTY, PA (February 5, 2024) — Inspire Federal Credit Union today announced plans to expand membership eligibility and banking services into Philadelphia County. With this announcement, membership at the credit union is now open to more than 2 million in Philadelphia County who can benefit from the community-oriented and relationship focused financial institution. In addition to their focus on serving the consumer banking segment, Inspire Federal Credit Union is extremely focused on servicing the banking needs of small- to mid-sized businesses, looking for quicker loan approvals and a more personalized approach to banking, compared to larger banks.

The $334.5 million credit union just concluded its ninth consecutive year of double-digit growth in both deposits and loans. The expansion into Philadelphia County includes anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Philadelphia County. Inspire is in the preliminary stages of developing relationships with various economic development, non-profit and advocacy groups that work to improve the quality of life within the Greater Philadelphia region, and this includes outreach to the Hispanic community.
Philadelphia and Bucks counties are economically interdependent. Many people who live in one county work or shop in the other.
