Credit union member wins $25,000 in TurboTax sweepstakes
LIVONIA, MI (May 24, 2016) — Tax time — sometimes our best friend, sometimes our worst enemy, always highly anticipated. Each year, filers set out with the hope of receiving a sizeable refund. This year, thanks to CU Solutions Group® and TurboTax, one lucky credit union member in Pensacola, Florida received more than she ever expected.
Heather Maxwell of Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union has been named grand prize winner of the “TurboTax $25,000 Payday” sweepstakes. December 8, 2015 – February 18, 2016, credit union members were eligible to enter the sweepstakes when they began their tax return via the TurboTax link on their participating credit union’s website. All entrants were eligible for a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize, or one of ten $1,000 first prizes. Heather is one of five lucky winners who used the TurboTax Credit Union Member Discount, offered by Love My Credit Union Rewards, to complete their taxes.
In addition to the $25,000 grand prize winner from Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, four additional members participating in the TurboTax Credit Union Member Discount won first prizes of $1,000 each. Participating credit unions with winning members include:
