WICHITA, KA (June 25, 2026) |
Credit Union of America raised $50,250 for Children’s Miracle Network at Ascension Via Christi during The Bob Thurman Memorial Golf Classic, held June 18 at Crestview Country Club in Wichita.
This year marked the first time the tournament was held as the Bob Thurman Memorial Golf Classic, named in honor of Bob Thurman, former Chief Executive Officer of Credit Union of America and founder of the event. Thurman’s support for Children’s Miracle Network at Ascension Via Christi helped shape the purpose of the annual fundraiser, which has now raised more than $926,000 for the organization over its 20-year history.
This year’s event featured a special appearance by Chip, whose family received direct assistance from Children’s Miracle Network at Ascension Via Christi for hearing aids. His touching story helped connect the day’s fundraising efforts to the real families who benefit from this support.
Credit Union of America extends sincere thanks to all tournament sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this milestone year possible. Their generosity continues the spirit of service behind the tournament and helps create meaningful impact for families throughout Kansas.
