Credit Union of Colorado opens two new full-service locations in Denver

The new headquarters and Branch in Central Park and Downtown Denver branch bring choice and flexibility to the Denver metropolitan area

DENVER, CO (September 12, 2023) — Credit Union of Colorado is proud to continue to bring choice and flexibility in financial services to the Denver metropolitan area with the opening of two new full-service locations. The credit union’s new headquarters and branch in the Central Park neighborhood and Downtown Denver branch on Colfax Avenue and Tremont Place will serve its growing membership and workforce. The Central Park branch located at 40th and Central Park Boulevard is the credit union’s 19th location statewide. Located at 1275 Tremont Place, the Downtown Denver branch replaces the previous branch in central Denver and maintains the credit union’s downtown presence.

“Credit Union of Colorado’s expanded presence in Denver is a reflection of our growing workforce and membership base in the community and beyond,” says Terry Leis, Credit Union of Colorado CEO. “While some businesses and financial institutions are choosing to leave or downsize their presence in the Denver area, we have doubled our commitment, providing the best staff and member experience built upon our core values and ‘here to help’ culture.”

The open layout of the Downtown Denver branch provides an integrated approach to helping members. Offering the latest in convenience banking – the Downtown Denver branch features a full-service office with lobby service center and drive-up tellers. Credit Union of Colorado also provides its members with the convenience of digital banking with remote check deposit.

“Many of our members enjoy the convenience of our digital banking services, including access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs,” explains Phil Smith, president of Credit Union of Colorado. “However, we know there is no substitute for banking face-to-face which allows us to build strong, trustworthy relationships with our members.”

The new headquarters building is centrally located, providing convenient, easy access to the greater Denver metropolitan area and proximity to light rail. The building is energy efficient, follows best practices in environmental construction and includes a full-service branch with drive-up and ATM services.

“The Central Park headquarters provides more space for our growing workforce, which proudly serves more than 160,000 members throughout the state of Colorado. The space is forward-thinking, designed to support a hybrid working environment and provide our team with a more collaborative atmosphere,” says Smith. “The benefits are countless. This new location allows us to keep our contact center local while increasing productivity and efficiency. It gives members access to another branch location and we’ve also incorporated a dedicated community meeting space to support community collaboration.”

Credit Union of Colorado will celebrate the grand opening of the Central Park headquarters and branch on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will feature food trucks, activities for kids and a car show fundraiser in partnership with WAXIE Sanitary Supply benefiting the American Cancer Society. Click here to take the credit union’s quick survey and claim your free food ticket for the event.
