Credit Union of Ohio celebrates  investment in  member experience

Grand reopening of Grove City branch brings local community together

Grove City, OH (July 8, 2026) |

Credit Union of Ohio celebrated the grand reopening of its newly rebuilt Grove City branch in June, marking a significant investment in the future of member service and reaffirming the credit union's commitment to the communities it serves.

Located at 2397 Old Stringtown Rd, the completely rebuilt branch replaces the previous facility with a modern, more accessible space designed to better meet members' evolving needs. The new location features a state-of-the-art lobby with additional room for personalized member interactions, as well as a new drive-through and drive-up ATM, offering added convenience that was not available at the previous branch.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together members, community leaders, business partners and project collaborators for a morning of celebration. Mayor Richard L. “Ike” Stage along with representatives from the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Grove City, the Ohio Credit Union League, Shaffer Construction, Design Collective and the many contractors and partners whose expertise made the project possible joined Credit Union of Ohio for the ceremony.

"This new branch reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in our members, our employees and the communities we proudly serve," said Rich Capuano, CEO of Credit Union of Ohio. "Every decision throughout this project was made with our members in mind, creating a more welcoming, accessible and convenient banking experience while strengthening our presence in Grove City for years to come."

The celebration also highlighted the importance of supporting fellow local businesses. Guests enjoyed complimentary coffee from Cart and Crema, baked goods from KKP Bakery and cookies from Duck Duck Goose Bakery, showcasing the vibrant small business community that helps make Grove City a great place to live and work.
