ALLEN, TX (December 2, 2020)Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) recently expanded its reach and ability to serve customers in North Texas with two new branches now open in Allen and Frisco. Located at 900 W. Bethany Drive, Suite 100, inside of CUTX headquarters in Allen, and 4770 Eldorado Parkway, Suite 300, between Legacy Drive and the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, both branches will welcome the two communities with upcoming, socially-distanced grand opening celebrations.

A highlight of the Allen CUTX grand opening will include a performance by the Allen High School Band, often recognized as the largest high school marching band in the country. The community celebration, planned for Saturday, Jan. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will also include complimentary food from area food trucks, games and prizes, photos with Wonder Woman, Batman and Captain America, and a DJ.

The CUTX Frisco grand opening event is scheduled Saturday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to  2 p.m. The public event will feature complimentary treats from a variety of food trucks, a performance by Frisco’s Wakeland High School Band, an interactive robotics demo from Leadership Prep School, a DJ, holiday photos with Santa, Frozen’s Elsa and the Grinch, as well as games and prizes.

“We want to continue to serve this fast-growing region and provide our clients with personal attention, especially during these uncertain times,” said Eric Pointer, CEO of CUTX. “These additional branches will provide existing and new North Texas customers further access to the solution-driven financial services CUTX has to offer. We look forward to welcoming the communities of Allen and Frisco to our new branches during our upcoming socially-distanced celebrations.”

The new branches are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each location is equipped with coin machines and ITMs/ATMs that are accessible 24/7. The Allen location also includes a full-service coffee shop, Clancy’s Coffee & Tea, with free beverages available to all CUTX members.
