Credit Union West named a Top Company to Work for in AZ for the seventh consecutive year
GLENDALE, AZ (June 14, 2019) — Recently, azcentral.com announced that Credit Union West is again a Top Companies to Work for in Arizona – for the seventh consecutive year.
The award is determined by measurements gathered from comprehensive employee surveys and rigorous workplace evaluations. Employees were questioned about the culture, work environment, leadership and satisfaction, while evaluations focused on workplace practices, policies, perks and demographics.
Credit Union West’s staff pointed to a collaborative workplace, internal career development and the organization’s practice of promoting from within as key reasons for why the credit union is a great place to work.
“Our employees are the reason for our success,” said Karen Roch, who was welcomed as President and CEO this past January. Roch is a 20-year employee of the credit union and is a key example of the company’s policy of internal career development and promotion. “We believe that happy employees make happy members, which is how we’re able to serve our members so well.”
A positive work environment has had a significant impact on the credit union’s member service, earning them a 97.4% member-satisfaction rating last year. The company continually looks for ways to engage employees and turn their ideas into reality.
