Credit Union Wins International Citation

(N. CHARLESTON, SC) – May 25, 2011 – South Carolina Federal Credit Union’s Employee Learning Center received the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) Excellence in Practice Citation in the Learning Technologies category.
The citation recognizes South Carolina Federal’s Life Simplified University (LSU) for the variety of employee training plans and extensive online catalog available to employees. The online courses feature custom in-house eLearning courses created by South Carolina Federal employees.
“To be recognized internationally for our in-house employee learning center is quite an honor,” said Scott Woods, President and CEO, South Carolina Federal Credit Union. “South Carolina Federal’s employer of choice status is a direct result of the effectiveness of our Learning Center.”
The citation recognizes results achieved through the use of practices and solutions from the entire scope of workplace learning and performance.
