Credit unions recognized by CU Direct for accomplishments in lending
Credit unions presented with industry Best Practice and Diamond Awards during company’s annual Drive Conference
ONTARIO, CA (May 23, 2016) — With the annual Drive Conference for credit unions as the backdrop, CU Direct (www.cudirect.com), the nation’s leading provider of lending, automotive and strategic solutions to the credit union industry, today revealed the winners of their 2016 Best Practices Awards.
The awards, which recognize credit unions’ exemplary lending and marketing practices and success in 2015, were presented during the conference’s Awards Luncheon. A capacity crowd of more than 500 conference attendees were on hand as four credit unions were acknowledged by CU Direct for their achievements in the areas of Business Development, Excellence in Lending, and Marketing to Members. The company also presented its Diamond Award to one credit union for its overall excellence and success in the lending marketplace in 2015.
CU Direct Best Practice Award winners are:
- Winning credit union in the category of Business Development: Upper Marlboro, Maryland’s NASA Federal Credit Union (119,371 members, $1.7 billion in assets)
- Award winner in the category of Excellence in Lending (Indirect Lending): Portland, Oregon-based OnPoint Community Credit Union (294,920 members, $3.9 billion in assets)
- Award winner in the category of Excellence in Lending (Direct Lending): Baton Rouge, Louisiana’s La Capitol Federal Credit Union (52,237 members, $463.1 million in assets)
- Winning credit union in the category of Marketing to Members: Bartlesville, Oklahoma’s Truity Credit Union (71,262 members, $717.1 million in assets)
Concluding the awards, CU Direct recognized Vacaville, California’s Travis Credit Union (176,959 members, $2.5 billion in assets) with the CU Direct Diamond Award, for their continued success in advancing their indirect lending program.
