CrossRoads Financial Federal CU makes a difference in the community
PORTLAND, IN (November 27, 2017) — CrossRoads members and staff volunteered at the intersection of Highway 27 and 67 in Portland and accepted donations for the local food pantry. Janet Bantz, CrossRoads President & CEO stated, “This annual Saturday morning project for the community meets an ongoing need. We held an annual food drive and collected money for local food pantries at our offices, called Tackling Hunger in October and decided we could do more for our neighbors.” With safety vests on, CrossRoads volunteers stood on the highway accepting money on National Make a Difference Day. Drivers donated $1,124 on a cold Saturday morning!
