AUGUSTA, Ga.,- CSRA Credit Union partnered with the Augusta-Richmond Co. Fire Department for their biannual delivery of stuffed animals to the children of Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital.

This marks the twentieth year CSRA CU and firefighters from the Augusta-Richmond Co. Fire Department have visited the Burn Center to drop off gifts to the children being treated in the unit.

“Kids just love to play and they love to have their own special animal and just to have that in a time where everything is confusing, and they don’t know what’s going on, it really does make a difference.”, said Erin Carrick of Doctors Hospital.

The Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital was founded in 1978. The once single bed operation is now one of the nation’s largest burn centers with 59 beds and treats more than 3,000 patients annually.

CSRA Credit Union is a division of Associated Credit Union which is headquartered in Norcross and serves over 155,000 members.  Providing low-cost services to its members, ACU is ranked in the top 150 credit unions in the United States.
