CU Direct appoints new chief financial officer
ONTARIO, CA (February 14, 2018) — CU Direct (www.cudirect.com) the nation’s leading developer of lending software technology to the credit union industry, announced that Neetu Bhagat has been promoted as the company’s new chief financial officer.
Ms. Bhagat has served as corporate controller since joining the company in 2016, and has more than 17 years of experience in both public and private organizations in a variety of finance and accounting positions, with proven expertise in rapid growth environments.
Prior to joining CU Direct, Ms. Bhagat served as the corporate controller for Ontellus, a provider of data retrieval services for the insurance and legal claims industry.

Previously, Ms. Bhagat was director of finance at Allergan, a global, publicly traded pharmaceutical company. Ms. Bhagat earned both an MBA and bachelor of science in accounting from Delhi University, India.
Credit unions funded 1.8 million loans through CU Direct’s Lending 360 and CUDL lending platform, generating a record $39 billion in credit union auto loans in 2017. CU Direct credit union partners experienced 16.2% loan growth in 2017, and as an aggregate, were the largest auto lender in the nation.
