CUAD announces SD Volunteer of the Year
BISMARCK, ND (May 8, 2017) — Rich Hurney, board member of Voyage Federal Credit Union in Sioux Falls, SD was recently named the South Dakota Volunteer of the Year by the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas (CUAD) at the Awards Banquet that was held during the CUAD Summit in Deadwood, SD April 10 – 12, 2017.
Each year, CUAD recognizes a volunteer from North and South Dakota that has selflessly contributed time, effort, and talent to the development of the credit union movement in their state. Volunteers are an integral part of the credit union movement and their contributions deserve recognition. Illuminating the most important part of the credit union structure, they serve both their communities and the industry, giving generously of their time and leadership to help bring financial services to the people who need it most.
