CU*Answers Awards DP Scholarships to NY Credit Unions

CU*Answers recently announced that it will be providing two New York Credit Unions data processing services gratis for two years.

Neighborhood Trust FCU (5,400 members and $8.3M in assets) and Lower East Side People’s (5,400 members and $26.4M in assets), both of New York, NY, will be upgrading to the CU*BASE core data processing system during the second quarter of 2011.

According to the CUSO, the Spirit of CU*Answers Scholarship was created as a turnaround program to provide an opportunity for change to struggling credit unions.  Recipients of the scholarships receive the direct service software application fees for base member processing and e-commerce offerings free for a two-year period.
