(Albany, NY) – The Credit Union Association of New York will be holding its first Economic Forum Nov. 1-2 in Albany, N.Y., at the Desmond Hotel & Conference Center. The event, which is open to attendees from multiple states, aims to provide credit union leaders with information on business strategy, economics, investing and more.

Nationally acclaimed speaker Mark Sievewright, president of Credit Union Solutions at Fiserv, will provide the keynote presentation, “Credit Unions—Staying Relevant, Becoming Prevalent: A Futuristic View of the Credit Union Industry and its Potential.”

Sievewright believes there’s a transformation underway in the U.S. financial services industry that will have a dramatic effect on how credit unions do business, how they strategize about their futures and how they collaborate around products, services and information.
