CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School assists 230 in becoming certified compliance experts

WASHINGTON, DC (November 7, 2017) — CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School was held this past September in Nashville, TN attracting more than 200 individuals looking to enhance their understanding of credit union compliance issues. After five days of learning and networking with industry experts and their peers, 108 received their Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designation, and 122 CUCEs renewed their designations.

“This school was excellent! They gave us great information, materials and tools to use.” said attendee Kristy Carper, vice president of compliance, Atlantic City FCU. “The classes will help you grow your compliance knowledge and help with staying on top of the important issues we face each day. If I could, I would attend every year!“

The next CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School will be held April 22-27, 2018 in New Orleans, LA and September 9-14, 2018 in Denver, CO. You can also get your regulatory compliance knowledge and updates online by taking the CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool.

The school and eSchool have two tracks. The Introduction School provides students looking to earn the CUCE designation with information on vital regulations and how to comply with them. The Update School gives current CUCEs an opportunity to dive into the latest compliance hot topics and advanced issues.
