PLANO, TX (November 7, 2017) — Kevin Johns has been named as Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union’s new vice president of sales and service effective Monday, Nov. 13, 2017. The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources for the $230 million dollar credit union.
Previously the vice president – retail sales at Coasthills Credit Union in Lompoc, Calif., Johns was responsible for inter-department communications, project management, non-interest income revenue, and strategic sales initiatives. During his leadership at the credit union, he transformed the internal branch structure by introducing a new sales manager role, job descriptions, and reporting structures to drive sales performance with a sales team of 28.
With more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience within the financial services industry—16 with the credit union movement—Johns will help Cy-Fair continue its mission to be committed to each member’s financial wellbeing while providing stable leadership their members can trust. Johns is recognized in the industry for his team-oriented approach, due diligence, and strategic project management.
Johns received a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in finance, business management, leadership, and communications from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich. Johns also attended CUNA Management School and is associated with the Filene Research Institute, i3 Work Groups, Boy Scouts of America, and many others in the community.
