Dave Fleming inducted into Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 19, 2018) — Dave Fleming, retired CEO of Partners 1st Federal Credit Union (FCU), was inducted into the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame during the Indiana Credit Union League’s statewide convention. He was honored at the Chairman’s Awards Banquet at the JW Marriott Hotel on October 12.

Fleming’s career began in 1973 when he was a loan officer/collector at what was then known as Magnavox Credit Union. Fleming rose to the position of CEO, and the credit union eventually became Philips Electronics FCU then changed to Partners 1st in 2006. Headquartered in Fort Wayne, Partners 1st FCU serves more than 37,000 members. Fleming has been an active member of numerous community and charitable organizations in northeast Indiana, and he served on the board of directors for the Northeastern Chapter of Credit Unions.

After retiring from Partners 1st FCU, Fleming was a volunteer board member for Union Baptist Church FCU, a credit union that he helped to develop. He served credit unions throughout Indiana as a member of various committees of the Indiana Credit Union League and as a member of the League board of directors from 2008-2017. He was chairman of the board from 2013-2014.
