David Duerr Joins Empower Federal Credit Union As Vice President Of Business Development

SYRACUSE, NY – Empower Federal Credit Union announces the appointment of David Duerr as the financial institution’s new vice president of business development. Duerr will oversee business development operations for the growing Syracuse-based credit union. Empower serves approximately 100,000 members in Central New York and surrounding counties, and over 2,000 member companies.
Prior to joining Empower, Duerr was with the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, now CenterState Chamber of Commerce, a division of CenterState Corporation for Economic Opportunity (CenterState CEO), for 16 years. As president of that organization, his responsibilities included the oversight of membership outreach and other Chamber operations. In addition, Duerr served on Empower’s Board of Directors for over 10 years. He has stepped down from that position.
