Day Air Credit Union announces Holli Davis selected to “Crash” the 2020 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference.

KETTERING, OH (February 14, 2020) — Day Air Credit Union is excited to announce that their Campus Relationship Coordinator, Holli Davis, has been chosen to “crash” the Credit Union National Association Government Affairs Conference (CUNA GAC). Davis is one of three emerging leaders selected in Ohio and one of over 50 young professionals nationwide to join thousands of credit union advocates for the year’s biggest credit union event.

Crash the GAC is a non-stop, career-changing program for young professionals that allows them to participate in the industry’s largest advocacy conference with complimentary registration, exclusive networking opportunities, leadership development tools, and mentoring sessions with industry leaders from organizations such as Filene Research Institute, National Credit Union Foundation, and CUNA.

“The Crashers bring so much energy and passion to CUNA GAC,” said CUNA President and CEO Jim Nussle. “I always look forward to meeting each new group, knowing that these folks are the people that will lead our movement in the future. I am so impressed with this year’s class, and I am excited to see where this leadership opportunity takes them in their careers. CUNA is proud to join Filene and The Cooperative Trust to make this special program possible year after year.”

The Cooperative Trust is the credit union industry’s largest young professional community. The Crash Program is designed to empower credit union young professionals through professional development and by finding and amplifying their voices to advocate for the role of young people in the industry.

“Holli is a leader in our organization and focuses her efforts on giving back and making the communities we serve a better place,” said Amy Cline, Director of Member Services at Day Air. “She is involved in numerous community organizations, including her role as a trustee on the board of the Miami Valley Military History Museum. We’re proud to see her recognized for her leadership on a national level.”

Davis is a Dayton native who has spent nine years serving the members of Day Air Credit Union in a variety of roles, most notably as Branch Manager for the Dayton VA location form 2015-2019. Currently, Davis is the Campus Relationship Coordinator for Day Air, a position that allows her to coach associates at Day Air’s University of Dayton and VA branches. Davis dedicates significant time to building relationships in the local community and creating awareness for financial literacy and education.
