Day Air Credit Union welcomes new marketing director
KETTERING, OH (July 20, 2017) — Day Air Credit Union has hired Joe Eckley as Director of Marketing to plan, direct and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive credit union growth.
Joe brings more than 10 years of integrated marketing experience including; digital marketing, web development, content management, email marketing, product development, project management, customer/member engagement, event marketing, and experience with traditional media marketing including print, radio and television.
Joe joins Day Air Credit Union after holding a variety of roles at Cox Media Group Ohio since 2013. While at Cox Media Group Ohio, Joe served in print advertising, digital marketing, radio and event marketing. Joe steered the successful launch of the Cox Digital Marketing brand, and drove the growth of local entertainment social media brands including 95.3 The Eagle and Me-TV WHIO Classic Television.
Previously, Joe served as the Digital Marketing Specialist at Boost Technologies, LLC. While there Joe managed the development and content for their brand websites including; Shumsky Promotional Products, Shumsky Therapeutic Pillows, Boost Rewards and Outta the Box Dispensers, LLC. Joe developed and executed a digital marketing strategy for each of the brands that grew awareness and drove sales respectively.
Earlier in his career, Joe spent time in product development for GeoCentral, a toy company based out of Mason, OH, where he worked with overseas vendors to design and develop educational toys and gifts. Additionally, he spent time working in Search Engine Optimization, with a focus on driving sales for car dealerships nationwide.

A Kettering native, Joe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Wright State University and holds a certification in User Experience Design.
