Day Air’s Ashley Runk elected to the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
KETTERING, OH (January 25, 2022) — Day Air Credit Union is proud to announce that Ashley Runk, Business Development Specialist, was elected to the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. As a Board Director, Ashley will help fulfill the goals and mission of the Beavercreek Chamber by crafting strategies to improve the business climate in the City of Beavercreek.
Ashley’s active role in the Beavercreek Chamber for the past three years led to her election to its board to help guide its 2022- 2024 strategic plan.
“We are excited to welcome Ashley to the Board of Directors. She is an energetic, out-going and dedicated member of the Chamber and we look forward to her participation in our future.” said Wendy Rodgers, President/CEO Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce.
Ashley is active in the community and is always looking for ways to give back. Most recently, Ashley led collection efforts for Day Air Credit Union’s Crayons to Classroom program and assisted in local holiday giving programs. In addition, Ashley volunteers her personal time to local Girl Scouts and cheerleading and tumbling classes in the City of Centerville.
“Ashley has been pivotal in helping deliver financial education to over 2,500 youth and adults in the community,” said Bettina Buscemi, Business Development Manager at Day Air Credit Union. “We are more than confident in the positive impact she will have contributing to the economic development efforts for the Beavercreek Chamber.”
Ashley has worked in the financial industry for over 6 years, holding numerous roles during her career. She is an active member with the Kettering Rotary and is a graduate of the 2019 Kettering Leadership Academy. Ashley also represents Day Air Credit Union at the BBB’s WIBN events, Wings of the Vandalia Butler Chamber of Commerce, Kettering Moraine Oakwood Chamber and Generation Dayton.
