About Dayton Firefighters Federal Credit Union
Dayton Firefighters Federal Credit Union was organized as the “Dayton (Ohio) Firemen Federal Credit Union” on the 4th day of June in 1935. The charter members, who were all fire department employees, applied for permission to organize and operate a Federal Credit Union. For over 68 years, the field of membership at the credit union included: any active or pensioned employee of Dayton, Ohio Fire Department and Department of Telegraph and Signals; employees of the credit union; members of their immediate family; and any association of such employees. The growth that followed was evidence of membership approval and acceptance that the credit union was a good choice for financial businesses. In September 2003, Dayton Firefighters FCU was able to open their services to anyone that lives, works, worships or attends school in Montgomery County of Ohio. Today, Dayton Firefighters FCU with $50 million in assets and over 3,800 members promises to simplify your financial life, work in your best interest, make your privacy a top priority, have fair and competitive rates and fees, and provide personalized options to help you achieve financial success.
