The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) proudly announces Andrews Federal Credit Union, USAG Benelux, has been selected by the Department of the Army as the 2024 Army Distinguished Credit Union of the Year. A total of 16 submissions—7 from banks and 9 from credit unions—were received and carefully reviewed by the United States Army Financial Management Command, Department of the U.S. Army, for consideration.
"We extend our sincere congratulations to Andrews Federal Credit Union and its team at USAG Benelux for earning the distinguished title of Army Credit Union of the Year," said Anthony Hernandez, DCUC President/CEO. "This recognition reflects their outstanding commitment to serving our military community overseas with excellence, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose. They truly exemplify what it means to serve those who serve."
Each year, the United States Army Financial Management Command requests nominations for the Army’s 2024 Distinguished Bank and Credit Union Service Awards. Since 1984, commanders have nominated their installation banks and credit unions on an annual basis. These awards recognize the on-post bank and credit union branches that have provided exceptional financial service and support to their communities.
