WASHINGTON, DC (July 22, 2026) |
The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) is honored to announce that Andrews Federal Credit Union (USAG Wiesbaden) has been selected by the Department of the Army as the 2025 Army Distinguished Credit Union of the Year. Submissions were received and carefully reviewed by the United States Army Financial Management Command, Department of the U.S. Army, for consideration.
"We proudly congratulate Andrews Federal Credit Union on this well-deserved recognition," says Anthony Hernandez, DCUC President/CEO, Ret. U.S. Air Force Colonel. "This honor reflects their unwavering commitment to serving soldiers, veterans, and military families stationed overseas. Andrews Federal exemplifies how defense credit unions go beyond traditional financial services by strengthening well-being, building resilience, and supporting the readiness of those who serve our nation."
Each year, the United States Army Financial Management Command requests nominations for the Army’s Distinguished Bank and Credit Union Service Awards. Since 1984, commanders have nominated their installation banks and credit unions on an annual basis. These awards recognize the on-post bank and credit union branches that have provided exceptional financial service and support to their communities.
