The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) proudly welcomes Collins Community Credit Union (CCCU) as its newest affiliate member.
Collins Community Credit Union (CCCU) is a member-owned financial institution founded in 1940 by ten employees of Collins Radio, originally founded as Collins Employees Credit Union. Rooted in the philosophy of "People Helping People," CCCU has grown to become Iowa's fourth-largest credit union, managing over $1 billion in assets. It serves individuals who live, work, attend school, or worship in several counties across Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. CCCU offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and online banking. With branches in Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls, Des Moines, Dubuque, Marion, and North Liberty, the credit union is committed to providing accessible financial solutions. Its mission is to make a difference every day, emphasizing that members matter more than their money, while its vision focuses on delivering global financial access, impact, and advancement for employees, members, and the communities it serves.
"We are very excited to welcome Collins Community Credit Union to DCUC’s membership. Their strong community roots and dedication to service make them a valuable addition to our network of credit unions supporting the military and defense communities,” said Anthony Hernandez, DCUC President/CEO.
