“Deborah is an accomplished executive,” Said Brandon Michaels, President and CEO at JSC FCU. “Her leadership and knowledge of transformative change is immeasurable during this critical journey. I am excited to work with such a dynamic and forward-thinking leader who understands the necessity of change and the needed transformation within the organization to put the Member at the center of all we do. With Deborah’s leadership, the Board of Directors have aligned around the positioning of a member-centric, technology-forward company, while keeping our credit union heart in our communities.”

When asked about her new role, Conder added: “I look forward to serving as JSC FCU Chair in a new era of transformation. In addition to Conder assuming the role of Board Chair JSC FCU also added two new interim directors, Brian Freedman and Jenny Dudley. Freedman is a tenured aerospace leader having spent over 12 years in positions at both NASA and Boeing, respectively. Dudley brings a wealth of experience from a fundraising background at some of Houston’s top organizations including Rice University, Baylor College and The University of Texas, Medical Branch.

“JSC FCU is an outstanding organization with an exciting future. It is an honor to join such a strong team of community leaders focused on helping JSC FCU chart its course and all members achieve their financial goals.” Said Freedman of his new position on the JSC FCU Board, Dudley added: “As a longtime member of the JSCFCU, I am honored to serve on the board of directors. JSCFCU has a strong record of financial performance and is well regarded in our community. I’m excited to work with Brandon Michaels and the executive team to advance innovative new products and services that our members expect of a modern financial institution.”

JSC FCU is looking to pivot as an organization and lead the financial services world by putting people, not profits, first. By putting people first, JSC FCU looks to build best in class experiences, products, and services.
